Shell Top Grain Tile Painted Effect Charcuterie Olive Wood Board 40 cm Approx

Cut from the natural silhouette of a single olive wood branch and finished with the Shell tile design in soft, coastal tones, this charcuterie board pairs organic form with Mediterranean pattern. Sealed beneath a glass-smooth, food-safe resin surface, it brings a breezy, seaside elegance to everyday serving.

Made in the Bonnymia studio by Mia Anastasi Sammut

The story

Every olive wood board begins as a single piece of timber, prized across the Mediterranean for its rich grain and natural durability, with its top grain surface left to showcase the wood’s own character. The Shell tile pattern is recreated on its surface in a painted-effect finish, echoing the decorative tilework found along Mediterranean coastlines, then sealed beneath layers of clear, food-safe resin. The result is a glassy, tile-like surface that is smooth to the touch yet tough enough for daily use, a small tribute to Mediterranean style home decor inspired by the sea.

Love this design? Make it your own

If the Shell tile pattern speaks to you, we can recreate it, or design something entirely your own, on a board sized and shaped for your home. Get in touch about a commission and let’s create something one of a kind together.

Handmade, and proud of it

Because each board is shaped from a natural branch and finished by hand, you may notice small variations in grain, shape or pattern from piece to piece. These are not flaws, but the fingerprint of genuine craftsmanship, and proof that no two Bonnymia pieces are ever quite the same.
