Morocco Tile Painted-Effect Bamboo Tray – Bathroom & Countertop Organiser

Morocco is the tile pattern I designed from the shared history of Mediterranean and North African tilework — the same geometry and warm colour language still found in Maltese courtyards, reworked into something entirely my own. I tiled it into my own hallway at home, so I know how beautifully it holds up to daily life, not just how it photographs.

The story

This slim tray is narrow enough to hold a single pastry and coffee at breakfast, and just as happy doing double duty as an organiser — pens on a desk, jewellery on a dresser, or the small things that otherwise scatter across a counter. The Morocco tile design is set in a food-safe, painted-effect resin finish over natural bamboo, so it brings a little piece of Mediterranean style home decor to the most everyday corners of your home.

Love this design? Make it your own

You can buy this ready-made tray, but so much of what I create can also be commissioned. Love the Morocco tile but want a different size, a colour palette to match your bathroom, or a coordinating set? I warmly welcome bespoke art commissions — from personalised wedding gifts and matching tableware to one-of-a-kind pieces of unique functional art, including my genuinely hand-painted wave and custom designs. If you can picture it, visit my Commissions page and we’ll bring your vision to life together.

Handmade, and proud of it

Buying handmade means buying something individual. Items will look similar to the photos but never exactly the same. There may be small imperfections or gentle marks in the surface — the rustic, characterful details that make each piece unique. Unless stated otherwise, your item will be similar to the one pictured but never identical, as most pieces are made to order.
