About
Morocco is the tile pattern I designed from the shared history of Mediterranean and North African tilework — the same geometry and colour language still found in Maltese courtyards, reworked into something entirely my own. I tiled it into my own hallway at home, so I know how well it holds up to daily life, not just how it photographs.
This tray is narrow enough to hold a single pastry and coffee at breakfast, and just as happy doing double duty as an organiser — pens on a desk, jewellery on a dresser, or the small things that otherwise end up scattered across a counter.
The base is hand-painted in loose, visible strokes before the Morocco pattern is set and sealed in food-grade resin, giving the surface real depth rather than a flat print. Because that base is made by hand, no two trays are ever quite identical — each one carries its own brushwork.
It’s an easy size to gift for that same reason — small enough not to feel like a big ask, useful enough that it won’t sit unused, whether that’s a housewarming gift, a little something for a wedding or anniversary, or a treat for your own desk or dressing table.
Hand Crafted
Buying handmade also means you are buying products that are unique. Items will look similar to the image but never the same. Every tile pattern is designed by me, and these can be personalised subject to availability. There may be visible imperfections, as well as stripped paint, lumps and bumps on the surface, which give the design its old, rustic look — integral and unique to my art.
Unless specified, your item will be similar to the one pictured but never exact, as most items are made to order.
