My mother and father had around two lemon trees and 2 orange trees. They were located in the back garden of our house in Malta where there was a beautiful bougainvillea perching along the wall. Every summer we used to go and pick the fresh fruit off the trees and have long discussions on what kind of lemon year it has been! I used to love digging my little nails in them to get the full citrus smell! I feel it truly symbolises my childhood.
This acacia platter raised serving tray with handles has been hand painted by me. It is hard wearing and with a little care will last a lifetime. Added to this it has natural anti-bacterial properties. This tray is perfect for serving nibbles and adding space to your table – it also adds warm mediterranean opulence to you home!
Hand Crafted
Buying handmade also means you are buying products that are unique. Items will look similar to the image but never the same. Every tile pattern is designed by me, these can be personalised subject to availability. There may be imperfections which are visible as well as stripped paint, lumps and bumps on the surface which make the designs have an old look rustic effect which is integral and unique to my art.
